The award aims to spread knowledge about distinguished fellow citizens and individuals who have played a significant role in Civitavecchia or the surrounding areas (Civitavecchia, Allumiere, Anguillara Sabazia, Barbarano Romano, Blera, Bracciano, Canino, Cerveteri, Ladispoli, Manziana, Montalto di Castro, Monteromano, Oriolo, Santa Marinella, Tarquinia, Tolfa, Trevignano Romano, Tuscania, Vejano, Vetralla). For this year, the chosen figure is Silverio Blasi, an important actor, director, and screenwriter born in Civitavecchia.

Participation in the Award implies adherence to the regulations, which establish the admission requirements, the participation modalities, the composition of the jury, the prizes and communications to the winners, copyright, and other terms necessary for participation.

Participants must submit their application with the required documentation by June 30, 2024, to the Award Secretariat, using the following email address: premio.ricordando@gmail.com.

The jury will proclaim three winners. The first will receive a prize of €1,000.00, the second €500.00, and the third €300.00.

Participants must send a video with a monologue created and performed by them, the duration of which must not exceed 12 minutes.

It is therefore a test of writing and acting, and the theme of the monologue is free.

For each selected monologue, a staging will be created and performed by the winner at the Teatro Nuovo Sala Gassman in Largo Italo Stegher, 2 Civitavecchia.

The winning authors must independently provide for the necessary arrangements for the staging of the text they will represent and any transfer and accommodation expenses.

The availability of the Theater and the light and sound service will be provided by the organization.

Art. 1 – The competition is open to authors born or residing in the municipalities of Civitavecchia, Allumiere, Anguillara Sabazia, Barbarano Romano, Blera, Bracciano, Canino, Cerveteri, Ladispoli, Manziana, Montalto di Castro, Monteromano, Oriolo, Santa Marinella, Tarquinia, Tolfa, Trevignano Romano, Tuscania, Vejano, Vetralla. Participation is open to all, without any age limit.

Art. 2 – The theme is free and consists of a test of writing and acting. Participants must submit a video with an unpublished text, in Italian, produced and performed by them. The duration of the video must not exceed 12 minutes.

Art. 3 – The video must be sent (together with the participation form, the receipt of the payment of the participation fee) by the deadline of June 30, 2024. The submission must be made by email to the address: premio.ricordando@gmail.com, indicating in the subject line the wording: Remembering Blasi and your name. The material will not be returned.

Art. 4 – The registration fee for each video submitted is: €15.00 (fifteen) intended for organizational expenses. The prizes are indeed covered by the contribution of the Cariciv Foundation of Civitavecchia. The registration fee must be paid by bank transfer to the current account held by Associazione Spazioliberoblog IBAN code: IT57P0306909606100000190806 at Banca Intesa with the reason: "Registration Prize REMEMBERING Silverio Blasi 2024".

Art. 5 – The evaluation of the texts and their admission to the final phase will be entrusted to a Jury composed of experts competent in the field.

Art. 6 – The authors of the winning texts will perform the monologue on the concluding evening of the award on Friday, September 27th at 6:00 PM in Civitavecchia at the Teatro Nuovo Sala Gassman in Largo Italo Stegher, 2. The arrangements for the realization of the monologue are the responsibility of the winner. The availability of the Theater and the light and sound service will be provided by the organization.

Art. 7 – The jury, at its sole discretion, will decide the awarding of three prizes. The first prize of €1,000.00, the second prize of €500.00, and the third prize of €300.00. The three finalists must present their work on the final day of Friday, September 27, 2024. Non-participation in the final evening forfeits the right to the prize. Only after the performance of the three finalists of the Silverio Blasi 2024 Prize on the final day will the ranking be announced.Art.

8 – The Jury may, at its sole discretion, award two additional prizes of €200.00 each for the best text and the best acting performance considered separately.
