The delivery of the prestigious ITFF Sicily Award took place in Catania

Thursday 8 October, at the Conference room of the Botanical Garden of Catania, the second appointment of the XII^ edition of the International Tour Film Festival dedicated to Students and Teachers, focused on knowledge and learning Article 9 of the Italian Constitution.

In a particularly suggestive context from an environmental point of view, made possible by the sensitivity of Dr. Giampietro Giusso del Galdo, Director of the Botanical Garden of the University of Catania, discussed the changes made last year to this important article of the Constitution. The aim is to develop in young students awareness of the importance of their active participation in the action of protection, conservation and enhancement of the landscape and the environment that surrounds them.ย 

These were Carmela Bucalo, member of the 7th Education and Culture Commission of the Senate of the Republic, Rita Manmino National Vice President of APIDGE, Edoardo Tortorici President of Italia Nostra, section of Catania, Rosario Calanni Fracconno, professor at the Link Campus University of Catania, Luigi Fressoia, National Councilor of Italia Nostra, Giuseppina Cutolo strong>, national contact person for Heritage Education, of Italia Nostra, Ezio Sina, National President of Apidge and Piero Pacchiarotti, President of the International Tour Film Festival. p>

On the occasion, Giuseppina Cutolo was presented with the prestigious ITFF Sicily Award for her particular passion and attention in promoting initiatives in favor of culture, the environment and the landscape._11100000-0000- 0000-0000-000000000111_

The conference, organized by ITFF in collaboration with Italia Nostra and Apidge, focused on the common commitment in pursuing the provisions of the Italian Constitution, on its 75th anniversary from its promulgation.ย 

The whole event was focused in particular on the fact that with the revision all the benefits obtained will also directly benefit future generations, on which today's mistakes are inevitably falling. A mission that must also involve the world of communication and the mediaโ€ engaged in raising awareness of this delicate topic.ย
