On the occasion of the 81st Venice International Film Festival, the prestigious ITFF Venice Awards, recognizing excellence in the world of cinema, were presented.
On Tuesday, September 3rd, at the Tropicana 2 Hall of the Italian Pavilion, in the splendid setting of the Hotel Excelsior, the prestigious ITFF Venice Awards were presented to:
- Bruno Bilotta (Actor: The Equalizer 3, Mafia Mamma, Assassins Club)
- Liliana Fiorelli (Actress: Un altro ferragosto, Non ci resta che il crimine, I migliori anni, Siccità)
- Maria Guerriero (Actress and producer: The Rainbow Bridge, L’amore ti salva sempre)
The event, held in a packed hall, was also attended by many friends of the festival, including:
- Franco Mariotti (Italian Union of Film Journalists - Silver Ribbons)
- Janet de Nardis (Actress and director)
- Antonella Salvucci (Actress)
- Maddalena Mayneri (President of Cortinametraggio)
- Carlo Tedeschi (Actor and director)
- Marcello Zeppi (President of Montecatini Film Festival)
This marked the highlight of the presentation of the 13th edition of the International Tour Film Fest, which showcased the festival's statistics and key moments, including the centenary of Marcello Mastroianni, the 150th anniversary of Guglielmo Marconi, the TERRAE project, the brand new all-female Mafalda Molinari Award, and the collaboration with the Strega Girls and Boys Prize.
The cultural journey will span cinema, conferences, exhibitions, and workshops, starting on Wednesday, October 2nd, at the Cinema Royal and concluding on Sunday, October 6th, in the splendid setting of the Teatro Comunale Traiano with the awarding of all winning works.
