PRESS RELEASE: ITFF 2024: Good Vibes by Janet De Nardis Wins in Civitavecchia.
The feature film Good Vibes, directed by Janet De Nardis, won the Critics' Jury Award at the 13th edition of the International Tour Film Festival, held across multiple venues in Civitavecchia. The event was organized by President Piero Pacchiarotti and Artistic Director Antonio Flamini.
The Italian director was awarded the prize in the splendid setting of the Teatro Comunale Traiano. The jury president, Romano Milani, presented the award in the presence of local authorities, including Mayor Marco Piendibene, Deputy Mayor Stefania Tinti, and Gabriella Sarracco, President of the Ca.Ri.Civ Foundation.
The same film also received a special award for Best Lead Actor, which went to renowned international actor Vincent Riotta, while Andrea De Rosa won the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in the same production.
The 13th edition concluded with highly positive results: 450 submissions, 98 entries in competition, including 35 Italian works. The festival also featured workshops, events for youth and students, exhibitions, book presentations, readings, theatrical performances, and meetings.
The final evening of the 2024 edition took place in the enchanting Teatro Comunale Traiano, which was sold out for the occasion. A glamorous red carpet preceded the awards ceremony, with prizes handed out across various categories.
The gala was hosted by actors Alina Person and Simone Gallo, whose dynamic partnership enriched the evening. The festival's ambassador, Antonella Salvucci, dazzled in a striking red gown.
The evening opened with a contemporary dance performance by international choreographer Michael Fuscaldo, who premiered his original creation Kairos, performed by Elisa Ricci and Jasmine Nunez.
A musical interlude followed, featuring Jentu, who debuted his single Ci rivedremo altrove, produced by Ennesenpai.
An emotional and entertaining highlight of the evening was the presentation of the inaugural Mafalda Molinari Award to actress Valeria Fabrizi. The award, a stunning sculpture by Stefano Notargiacomo, was presented by Mario Molinari to honor Fabrizi’s exceptional contributions to the arts.
