The 13th edition of the International Tour Film Fest was successfully presented at Cannes.
On Wednesday, May 22, at the Italian Pavilion set up inside the magnificent Hotel Majestic during the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, the International Tour Film Fest officially presented its 13th edition, which will take place in Civitavecchia from October 2 to 6.
The presentation was conducted by President Piero Pacchiarotti and Artistic Director Antonio Flamini, who addressed an audience of Italian and international industry professionals, emphasizing the importance of a festival that embraces the Alto Lazio region with the aim of developing its resources, culture, and tourism.
On stage, various friends of the festival, both Italian and international, shared speeches and anecdotes, including director Christian Marazziti, actress Ira Fronten, and Eurasia Film Market manager Elena Larionova.
Director Angelo Antonucci and Franco Mariotti from the Italian Film Journalists Union also participated.
On this occasion, the prestigious ITFF Cannes Awards, recognizing excellence in the world of cinema, were presented to Laura Dell Colli, President of the Italian Film Journalists Union Nastri d'Argento, and Roberto Stabile, Cinecittà Special Project Manager at the Ministry of Culture's DGCA.
In a packed room, notable attendees included: producer Angelo Bassi, producer Lana Young of Panther Film Production, Stewen Willbur of The North Film Festival Sweden, Tamia Dow from Las Vegas, Frank Mannion, head of Swipe Films, and director Carlo Tedeschi for the Leo Amici Foundation.
The International Tour Film Festival, which will be held in Civitavecchia from October 2 to 6, 2024, is sponsored by MIC, Regione Lazio, Roma Lazio Film Commission, Fondazione Ca.Ri.Civ, Comune di Civitavecchia, Enel, Molinari, Italia Nostra, Apidge, and Open Mind.
