EVERYONE IN THE LAGOON FOR THE PRESENTATION OF ITFF2023 AT THE VENICE FILM FESTIVAL
The official presentation of the 12th edition of the International Tour Film Festival, an event to be held in Civitavecchia from 4 to 8 October 2023, will take place on Sunday 3 September at 5:30 pm at the Hollywood Celebrities Lounge on the Venice Lido.
The location is the most prestigious lounge inside the exclusive Lido Tennis Club a few meters from the Red Carpet of the Venice International Film Festival, which has now become the most strategic and sought-after venue for the event.
It will be an opportunity to learn about the entire program and the guests who will participate. The official promotional video, already previewed at Cannes and the graphics of this new edition, will be re-proposed.
The presentation will be curated by the President Piero Pacchiarotti and the Artistic Director Antonio Flamini and will be addressed to an audience of Italian and foreign insiders. Also this year the prestigious ITFF Venice Award will be awarded, recognition of excellence in the world of cinema, on which however the utmost secrecy reigns.
The presentation also has the further purpose of promoting the valorisation of the Alto Lazio area; commitment that the festival has been pursuing for 12 years now. The International Tour Film Festival, organized by CivitaFilm, is sponsored by MIC, the Lazio Region, the Rome Lazio Film Commission, the Ca.Ri.Civ Civitavecchia Foundation, Enel, Italia Nostra, Apidge, Luca Papa Coach, Cinema Multiplex Royal.
Brief presentation of the event The festival offers an international competition open to short, medium and feature films; it takes place in multiple stages abroad and within the Lazio region between June and October. All the finalist works will be screened during the final stage in Civitavecchia (RM) from 4 to 8 October 2023. The event will be accompanied by cultural events and programming.
Feature Film competition This competitive section intends to promote a showcase of Italian and international feature films. Feature films made from 2021 onwards with a maximum of 105 minutes including credits are eligible.
Short films and medium films competition Works of Italian and international production, created from 2021 onwards, are admitted. Short and medium-length films with a maximum duration of 55 minutes including credits belonging to the following categories can take part in the competition: Fiction, Animation, Documentary and Tourism.
Student Competition on the Italian Constitution Works produced by Italian and Italian schools abroad that deal with article 9 of the Italian Constitution are admitted.
Festival del Mare competition Only video clips of unreleased songs of Italian production with the sea as their theme are admitted.
Un Mare di Libri competition Only monographs of film personalities are admitted. Volumes must be edited.
