The presentation event will take place on Tuesday at 17.00, by invitation only, in the prestigious Hotel Majestic in Cannes which houses the Italian Pavilion, the professional space which, in the main international festivals and markets, represents the Italian home for all the operators - national and foreign - who follow Italian cinema artistically and on an industrial level.

As part of the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, the official promotional video will be presented and the first novelties of a 12th edition will be revealed which, as per tradition, will be full of guests and celebrities. The presentation will be curated by the President Piero Pacchiarotti and the Artistic Director Antonio Flamini which will be addressed, for the occasion, to an audience of Italian and foreign professionals. The event will also be an opportunity to deliver the prestigious ITFF Cannes Award, recognition of excellence in the world of cinema, on which, however, the utmost secrecy reigns. The presentation also has the further purpose of promoting the enhancement of the Alto Lazio area, in which the city of Civitavecchia is located, in order to further drive the tourist and cultural activity of what is the first cruise port in the Mediterranean, with over 2.5 million passengers a year. The International Tour Film Festival is sponsored by MIC, the Lazio Region, Rome Lazio Film Commission, the Municipality of Civitavecchia, Enel, Italia Nostra, Apidge, Luca Papa Coach, Cinema Multiplex Royal and Sala Buonarroti. Brief presentation of the International Tour Film Festival: The Civitafilm Cultural Association was officially born in 2007 with the aim of promoting the image of Civitavecchia and the whole territory in the world through the organization of cultural events, exhibitions, staging of shows. The Tolfa Short Film Festival was born from this idea in 2012 , the result of the meeting between Civitafilm and the municipal administration of Tolfa which lasted until 2014 increasing notoriety and registrations. From 2015 the Festival changed in search of new potential and a further increase in comparison and cultural exchange that only a city like Civitavecchia can offer, thanks to the huge catchment area it boasts being the first cruise port in the Mediterranean. Thus was born the International Tour Film Fest (ITFF), the normal evolution of a route aimed at embracing the whole territory north of Rome in a film project that helps to revive the economy thanks to the audiovisual and tourism that derives from it. The festival offers an international competition open to short films, medium-length films and feature films. The festival takes place in multiple stages abroad and within the Lazio region from June to October. All the finalist works will be screened during the final stage in Civitavecchia (RM) from 4 to 8 October 2023. The competition will be accompanied by cultural events and programming.
