Big News for ITFF Visioni Mediterranee: The Competition is Now Open to Everyone!

We are thrilled to announce a significant evolution for the first edition of the "ITFF Visioni Mediterranee" 2026 video-poetry competition. Born from the synergy between the International Tour Film Fest and the Mediterranean Poetry Prize, the contest is renewing itself to become even more inclusive and celebrate global creativity.

Total Opening: Poetry Has No Boundaries

We have decided to break down the barriers: the competition, originally reserved only for the finalists of the Mediterranean Poetry Prize, is now officially open to all creators, directors, and poets who wish to try their hand at this art form. There are no age limits (parental signature is required for minors), nor geographical restrictions.

What are we looking for?

We want to see poetry come to life not only through words but through the power of images and sound.

• Production Period: Works produced between 2024 and 2026 are eligible.

• Theme: Free, focused on the countries and nations bordered by the Mediterranean Sea.

• Language: Any spoken language, but English subtitles are mandatory.

• Technical Specifications: Videos must be in MP4 format, with a minimum resolution of 1920x1080 and a duration not exceeding 15 minutes.

  
  

How to Participate

Participation remains free of charge. To apply, you must send the following documentation to presidentcivitafilm@gmail.com no later than June 30, 2026:

1. The video file of the video-poetry (maximum of two unpublished works per author).

2. The written text of the poem(s).

3. The poster of the submitted work.

4. The participation form (including release and privacy authorization) completed via the official link.

   
   

Prizes and Jury

A high-level international jury, composed of professors and artists chosen by the President of the Mediterranean Poetry Prize, will evaluate the works to award the top three winners. All works will become part of the competition archive and may be screened during special ITFF 2026 non-profit initiatives.
