In its tenth edition, the festival honored works from around the world, strengthening the dialogue between culture, destinations, and international promotion.

The International Tourism Film Festival celebrated its tenth edition in Ankara, confirming its place as one of the most interesting events in the field of tourism cinema. Held at CSO Ada Ankara, the ceremony brought together filmmakers, producers, and international guests in a setting that highlighted the connection between culture, places, and audiovisual storytelling.

During the event, films from Türkiye, Europe, and the United States were awarded across several tourism-related categories, from travel and services to destinations and cultural tourism. Among the winners was Italy, with recognition given to Fabio Reitano in the Tourism Destinations category.

The festival, created with the aim of promoting Türkiye’s image through cinema, has moved over the years through several symbolic cities of the country, from Istanbul to Cappadocia, from Gaziantep to Antalya and Ephesus, arriving this year in Ankara. The president of the organization, Can Saraçoğlu, explained that the event continues to grow as an international platform for telling the story of tourism in an authentic and creative way.

Among the invited guests was Piero Pacchiarotti, president of the International Tour Film Fest, who is also among the founding members of the sustainable festival circuit CINETOUR, chaired by Can Saraçoğlu. The circuit is preparing to launch the first World Film Festival Congress, to be held in Rome from October 27 to 30, with 68 member countries representing 120 festivals.
