ITFF Roma Cinema Award : The First Edition at the Roma Lazio Film Commission Space at the Rome Film Fest

The first edition of the “ITFF Roma Cinema Award” took place at the Roma Lazio Film Commission Space during the 2025 Rome Film Fest, held at the Auditorium Parco della Musica. This event is part of the International Tour Film Festival programming in Civitavecchia and was made possible thanks to the support of the Fondazione Roma Lazio Film Commission, represented by President Maria Giuseppina Troccoli and CEO Lorenza Lei.

Hosting the event were ITFF President Piero Pacchiarotti and Artistic Director Antonio Flamini, who wished to honor the talent of artists and personalities contributing to the Italian film scene. Six awards were presented, including a special lifetime achievement award.

The recipients were:

• Director Pappi Corsicato, who presented his restored first film “Libera” at this 20th edition of the Rome Film Fest;

• Director and producer Fabrizio Corallo, awarded for directing the documentary “Le Mille Luci di Antonello Falqui”;

• Actress Anna Ferraioli Ravel, honored for her performance in Paolo Virzì’s film “Cinque secondi”;

• Actor Andrea Roncato, awarded for his role in the film “Il principe della Follia”;

• Actress Lidia Vitale, recognized for her performance in the Netflix TV series “Mrs Playmen”;

• Actor Pierluigi Gigante, awarded for his role in the film “Il Falsario.”

The special award — Lifetime Achievement Award — was given to an emotional Vincent Riotta, an internationally renowned actor celebrated for his successful career and exemplary artistic and cultural excellence.

The audience was filled with industry professionals, friends, and cinema lovers, including director Christian Marazziti (directly from set), directors Daniele Falleri, Angelo Antonucci, Kassim Yassin Saleh, actresses Alessia Fabiani with Giuseppe Bambagini, Roberta Garzia, Eleonora Siro, Adriana Russo, TV host Sabina Stilo, actor and director Saverio Vallone, actors Gianni Franco, Dario Bandiera, Alex Partexano, costume designer Adele Bargilli, cinematographer Gianni Mammoliti, former Experimental Center Director Marcello Foti, Romano Milani, Secretary of the National Syndicate of Film Journalists, Vice President Franco Mariotti, Graziano Marraffa, president of the historical archive of Italian cinema, and Giancarlo Di Gregorio, founder of Mad Genius Group.

The appointment is set for the second edition in 2026.
