From Civitavecchia to Cannes, the festival renews the dialogue between cinema, territories and cultures. During the event the customary presentation of the prestigious ITFF Cannes Awards also took place.

The 15th edition of the International Tour Film Festival, scheduled to take place in Civitavecchia from 7 to 11 October 2026, was presented at the Italian Pavilion at the Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic in Cannes. The presentation confirmed the festival’s international vocation: this year 487 works from 71 countries will compete, with a strong focus on the relationship between cinema, tourism, cultural identities and territorial promotion.

The 2026 edition was introduced by Piero Pacchiarotti, president of the International Tour Film Fest, and Antonio Flamini, the festival’s artistic director, who outlined the festival’s guiding principles, objectives and prospects.

They were joined by:

Angelo Bassi, film producer and president of Mediterranea Production,

Guia Zapponi, actress, director and producer,

Emanuela Del Zompo, director, filmmaker and producer,

Christian Marazziti, director

During the presentation the prestigious ITFF Cannes Awards were presented to actress Yassmin Pucci for the project adapting her book “Don’t Call Me Princess. Three Generations of Women, One Royal Family” into a film, and to musician Franco Eco, author of numerous film scores. These recognitions form part of the festival’s mission to celebrate film personalities who combine research, talent and an international outlook.

The initiative reinforces ITFF’s role as a meeting platform for professionals, institutions and industry operators in a prestigious setting such as the Cannes Film Festival.

The 15th edition of the International Tour Film Festival will return to Civitavecchia with a varied programme of screenings, meetings and in-depth events, continuing a steady growth that over the years has made the festival a benchmark for cinema connected to travel, territories and world cultures.
